Imagine your film being announced at the movie theatre even when your film is not there. To top it all off, you are just an independent filmmaker. That's a powerful resource to know and have. Imagine winning film festivals across the globe with faces of color who happen to be woman. As a man, I am honored that woman felt the compassion in my story enough to give me the Toronto's Indie Filmmakers Festival Female Empowerment Award.
This is my life's journey, and I want to teach you about independent filmmaking.
